i am going to purchase a brown colour to put over top, what sort of brown do u think i need, i dont want my hair to turn ginger, and i dont want it to dark.

Please don't do this, go back to the hairdresser that did your hair and let the salon correct their mistake. A reputable salon will do this for free. It depends on how dark you're willing to go. But the blonde is eventually gonna bleed through the brown, resulting in you having to redye or it may look green if you used cheap dye. So my best suggest is wait a few days so it won't damage your hair right away meanwhile treat it with some sort of good conditioners, and use a little darker color than you were planning incase the blonde bleeds through pretty bad or the brown dye doesn't stick as good.


I say try from a medium brown to a chocolate brown, but I think the color that appeals most to your taste is medium brown.
One you can have dark blonde low lights put in your hair it will put the color back in your face plus it will still look like you just had it highlighted or call that hair dresser and tell her that it's to light and that your face look washed out and ask if thy could put some low lights of dark Blondie in it. Or if you still want to dye it then I would dye it a light dark blonde. I hope this helps

and dont go to dark with the toner,because if its still too light you can use another toner with little damage.if its too dark you wll damage your hair tring to lighten it

You could try going back to the salon and making them fix it, you paid for your hair to be the way they want it and they messed up. Worth a shot, and if no luck there then stop by the shop and get some dark blonde dye! Remember summers approaching, and super blonde is nice then, makes it look like youve been on holiday and the suns dyed your hair!

please dont put brown color over your blonde hair it will turn green! i promise it will have a greenish cast to it. You should go back to the salon and have them put brown lo-lites in your hair to brake up the blonde ask for heavier ones around your face where you think its to light.
i'd put a darker blonde Semi over the top and not brown. Also avoid colurs with 7 in the code this means it will have redish tones in them and would get the gingery colour,





Try a ashy blonde/brown it should tone it down (be careful though if your hairs been bleached)
do not attempt that yourself. go back to the salon and tell them you are not happy. they will be glad to correct it for you. show them a pic of the exact color you want it. they will probably do it for nothing or close to it. i always took care of my clients if the werent happy for free.
dont get a brown... get an ash blond. it will still be a little darker but if you go brown it will eventually fade... also give it a little time get a deep conditioner... and try to change up your makeup style to see if you can get it to look better while your hair recovers from going blond
Seriously don't do it yourself now. Return to the hairdressers and they should fix it. At the very least you need to leave your hair a while before it is dyed again.
Either go back to the same hairdressers or a different one - don't experiment at home with it. They can put a colour toner in it that makes it go darker. Though usually my hair colour needs a day or two to 'calm' down so if it's not that bad wait a few days...
DONT DO IT!!!! It will go orange. This is because when you had your hair bleached, they stripped out all the dark pigment in your hair. When you go to dye it darker there is no pigment for the dye to attach to.


You have to go back to the hair dresser so they can do it in stages.
You should return and have them put a toner on it, or change the colour free of charge if you're not happy with it. Please don't attempt to do it yourself as putting additional colour over the top will give unpredictable results.
Go back to your hairdressers and get them to fix it for you, tampering with a colour at this early stage could damage your hair or result in a colour you really don't like!
Why didn't you tell the hairdresser you weren't happy? Don't try to fix it yourself, go back and see them and ask them to correct it.

Hey the best way is to go to your nearest beauty shop and ask them to sugest you as we havent seen you neither know your complexion. It does play a very important role to chose your hair color!
