aaesthetics falls under a cosmetology license.


you can also get only an esthetics license. or only a nail tech license.


aestheticians cannot do hair; cosmetologists can do aesthetics.


nail techs cannot do esthetics or hair, but cosmetologists can do all of the above.





i would not let anyone who has not at least had a class on micro do mine.


and check out the credentials of the school. some cosmetology schools don't teach how to wax or how to do facials. No not unless they have a certification in facials or microdermabrasions. I know of a lady who is a cosmetologist and she got certified to give microdermabrasions but shes not an esthetician
U are talking about 2 difference licence. Esthetician licence and hairdressers license!
