Is it ok to straighten your hair before going to the hairdressers?

When i wake up i get bedhead hair and its awful so i was wondering is it ok for me to straighten it before going to the hairdressers or is this a bad idea. thanks.Is it ok to straighten your hair before going to the hairdressers?
I have really curly and poofy hair, so I always straighten it before I go for a haircut simply since I don't want to pay for them to straighten it. However, if you're going in for a cut, just ask them to cut it while it's dry, or else what was the use of straightening it.Is it ok to straighten your hair before going to the hairdressers?
Surely you go to the hairdressers to have it straightened for you? Just stick it in a hair tie or wear a hat!





Also, your poor hair wont enjoy such a harsh heat treatment twice in an hour!
Well yeah but there is not point, there going to wash it and then straighten it anyway.





And if its one straightening less on your hair then its better not burningg it.
Sure...But if your going to get your hair cut, or whatever then they're most likely just going to wash your hair, or wet it down...Unless your just going in for a style.
I think it is no neccessary to straighten it .
Yeh its defs up to you, but they will end up either washing it or spraying it with water anyway.


They'll understnd if you have bed hair, im sure they've seen worse!
