For a longer emo haircut, you can tell your hairdresser to give you lots of layers in the back and to thin out your hair a bit, which gives it the higher volume on the top and long thin strands on the bottom.





And by the way, your hair won't look extremely emo (if that's what you're afraid of) unless you tease it until it reaches the sky. :]
