How much can hairdressers earn?

What is the starting salary for a junior stylist and what is the max salary they can earn? How much can hairdressers earn?
they start on a very low salary as you are learning, i think about 拢150 a week if that. after that, it goes up a bit, to about 拢225 a week or there abouts.

if u are thinking of training as a hairdresser, do it. i wish i had. u can make loads of money from doing friends and familys hair as well, so u can make an extra income from that. How much can hairdressers earn?
It depends on where you are( what city), and what services you are performing, and how good you are are. If i was you i would really learn how to do hair infusions( if you dont know how already) i know people pay $500 to $2000 per head. That sounds damn good to me.
You can do OK while you are younger. By that I mean, it seems like a lot of money when you are younger. When you have children, and a house payment, you realize it isn't that great anymore.

It really depends on the salon you are in. If you can get into a good salon and work your way up, after several years you could be in good shape. However, you will have quite a bit of time where you make basically notihing. While the walk in/budget salons offer a lot of quick clientelle, you make less. Many people do not tip in these salons. The commission scale is often crazy to the point where you can't keep track of what you have made.

In FL, where I worked most of my career, there was a base guarantee ($200/wk) or 50% commission, whichever is greater, in most salons. Ohio required an hourly wage, so I made $9 there (as salon manager), and because of the hourly it was very hard to make commission. As a non-manager, we paid $5.15/hour.

I went back to college after 12 years of doing hair-I would reccommend you do the same. It is hard on your body and you don't make a lot of money. Plus, the people can be SO mean!
