Ideas to get 2 year old child 2 allow the hairdressers to cut his hair?

my 2 year old son hates getting his haircut he screams he kicks and carries on. what can i do to get him 2 sit still, we have tried toys,books everythingIdeas to get 2 year old child 2 allow the hairdressers to cut his hair?
Not exactly what you're looking for, but we solved the problem by cutting the toddler's hair ourselves. We'd get him to sit still for a few minutes at a time, so we'd cut it in stages--over a couple of days.





I can't imagine getting a 2 yr. old boy to sit still for a stranger in a strange room while the stranger is wielding interesting-looking instruments. Too much excitement and too much fear of what's going to happen. But if mom does it, in stages (so that he doesn't have to sit still for too long at one time), it is quite do-able. you should try that salon where they sit the kids not on an ordinary chair but a car or an airplane where they can tinker away and be distracted. they normally just sit there without realizing it's over already. if it still doesn't work you might wanna cut the child's hair yourself -- and while he's sleeping! at least that's what I did with my active toddler then and it worked ;D
You can sit first in the salon's chair, then sit him on your lap and turned 90 degrees. A bag of cookies to munch on helps too.
Get the kid a crew cut down to stubble with no guard on the razor

I do it myself and try and catch him asleep if possible. He doesn't move as much.
