usually hair dressers give u a hair wash after cuttingg your hair.. they then apply a conditioner which makes hair smooth and shiny.

there are 2 types of conditioners though.one type is when uapplyy on your wet hair after shampooing and then rinse the conditioner off after gently massaging your scalp.a good conditioner would be dove..you can choose a conditioner based on your hair type -normal,oily,for hair breakage etc.. i use dove conditioner and i feel its real good.

the other type ofconditionerr is what u use after your hair wash but udon'tt rise it off.. it just stays on your hair and its easier to comb your hair..What do hairdressers put in your hair after your cut that makes it all soft and shiny?
Depends what product you use.

My hairdresser suggested i use a cream with thngs like water, cyclopentsiloxane, propylene glycol dicaprylate, hydrolyzed silk, eugenol and all them sort of things in it. But thats also to protect my hair fom straightening it all the time lol.
My hairdresser uses 2 things:

1.Mizani hairspray(found at any beauty supply store)

2.Cricket hairspray(professional use only)

I hope this is useful to you :D
Sometimes a silicone spray that really leaves your hair glistening, sometimes wax or oil, depends on your hair type. You need to ask them and you usually can buy the stuff to use at home too.
